Enhanced ID Verification provides a robust Level 3b identity assurance workflow for organisations that require stronger fraud prevention alongside manual compliance oversight. This workflow includes a comprehensive Document Verification Report, Motion-based Liveness Check, and full Watchlist AML screening, supported by an additional fraud-intelligence layer.

At Level 3b, the fraud-detection component focuses on:

• Device Intelligence Report – A detailed assessment of device activity and risk signals, including indicators of suspicious behaviour such as proxy use, emulators, unusual geolocation patterns, or repeated high-risk interactions.

This version also introduces a Manual Decision Task, allowing your compliance team to personally review Watchlist AML results and determine whether to Approve or Reject the verification. This hands-on step helps organisations maintain full control over high-risk cases and supports regulatory audit requirements.

To maintain confidentiality and protect end-user privacy—particularly when working with multiple notaries—the Level 3b workflow purposely excludes Known Faces Matching and Repeat Attempts reporting. These features could reveal cross-notary activity, so they are not recommended in collaborative environments where identity reports are shared with trusted partners.
